10-year-old girl robbed of cell phone by man riding pink children’s bicycle in Queens

CORONA, Queens (WABC) — The NYPD is looking for a person accused of stealing a cellphone from a 10-year-old woman as she walked to highschool in Queens.

According to police, the person threatened the younger woman on thirty fourth Avenue in Corona round 8 a.m. Wednesday, forcing her to surrender her telephone.

He took off on a youngsters’s bicycle southbound on 102nd Street and was later seen inside a close-by bodega.

The bicycle is described as pink with white butterflies.

The sufferer reported ache to her wrist and was handled by a college nurse.
