New Delhi: Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport has change into the primary in South Asia to fee a tactical simulator from Rosenbauer International, an Austrian enterprise, to enhance its firefighting abilities.

Firefighters can apply in a sensible setting, grasp the tactical use of Rosenbauer panther vehicles, and function excessive attain extendable turrets (HRET) for excessive plane fireplace emergencies, in line with Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL).

Four subtle Rosenbauer idea fireplace automobiles (CFT) have been added to BIAL’s fleet. Two Rosenbauer Panther 66 vehicles and two Rosenbauer Panther 88 vehicles had been lately commissioned, together with two with HRETs, bringing the full variety of CFTs within the fleet to eight. According to airport officers, Bengaluru is the one airport in India to fee these high-tech automobiles with HRETs.
