National Film Award-winning director KS Sethumadhavan dies at 90

Chennai/Thiruvananthapuram: Ace movie director KS Sethumadhavan, winner of 10 nationwide and 9 Kerala state movie awards, handed away in Chennai on Friday, trade sources stated.

Born in Palakkad in 1931, the 90-year-old bid adieu to his movie profession within the mid-90s after which he led a retired life in Chennai.

Sethumadhavan started his movie profession within the late 50s when he labored as an assistant to the then veterans like LV Prasad and Sunder Rao, amongst others.
